Woke up early, the following day, to get started on our first trek to Borrego Palm Canyon Trails. Surprisingly, the chilly wind and slight rain of snow we were expecting decided to skip our path and showered us with bright and warm sunshine instead! Blue skies, warm breeze, and loads of sun love greeted us throughout our stay! what a lovely way to spend the end of the year right? rightly so!

Once we reached the rocky grove, the path suddenly became fuzzy and we found ourselves climbing in-between boulders, crossing streams, and finding our way out from the maze of rocks! Fun times! | | | | |

| After being chased by the sun for more than an hour, this oasis sighting surely lifted our dehydrated selves! There were also a few other hikers lounging and happily exploring the perimeter. During the wet season, this oasis will swell into a natural spring and will become a haven for the wild beasts of the desert. For now, we get to enjoy it for a while. Once the hikers head back before sundown, the rightful owners claim stake to this land again and roam freely in their natural pace. |
